The Ministry of National Economy commissioned Abu Hwaij to undertake an examination concerning audited financial statements and the operations of an industrial company. Conducted in late 2021, the work concerned earlier transactions within the commission’s scope. The examination referred to the Fraud Examiners Manual published by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and included review of relevant financial information and operations, reporting and a technical presentation.
