Oxfam is a Uk based organs ion that is fighting inequality to end poverty and injustice. Across regions, from the local to the global, the organization works with people to bring change that lasts. Their work is grounded in the commitment to the universality of human rights.

Naseej is a multi-country project that is implemented in three countries (Iraq, Palestine and Yemen) and connects women voices and actions to end violence against women in the MENA region. One of the main activities of Naseej is to produce a multi-country research report on Sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in conflict with a focus on the most vulnerable women and girls. The research will broadly examine SGBV in conflict as well as inter-sectional linkages between household, community, and institutional violence and will include a focus on the most vulnerable and under-researched groups of women and girls including women with disabilities.

In 2021, Abu Hwaij Assurance and Consulting services was awarded the contract to conduct the multicounty research report. The project required Abu Hwaij Assurance and Consulting services to realy a team of local experts each in their respective flied and hence partnerships with Baghdad women association and the University of Aden – faculty of medicine and Health sciences was formed to extended the data collection and analysis and localize the research to fit the conflict ridden territories. Data collection tools extended to Survey Questionnaire, Key Informants interview (KII) protocol and Expert consultation (group interview). The research has already completed the data collection stage and its findings soon to be published.
